  1. Sakura Matsuri Street Festival– April 10, 11am – 6pm @ 12th Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC — A great way to end the Cherry Blossom Festival, this is the largest one-day show of Japanese culture in the US.  There will be Japanese food, beer, arts & crafts, sumo, anime, and bonsai.  The festival is six square blocks through downtown DC, and starts right after the Cherry Blossom Parade.  There is also a 1,600 square feet Children’s Corner, which is a hands-on area to introduce kids to Japanese activities such as origami and Japanese games.  http://www.sakuramatsuri.org
