It looks like it is going to be a chilly weekend!  Here are some fun ideas to keep you indoors.

  1. Harry the Dirty Dog– April 17, 2pm @ McLean Community Center’s Alden Theater — MCC presents Arts Power’s production of Harry the Dirty Dog.  Based on the classic book by Gene Zion, this performance is suited for children ages 4 and above.  Tickets are $14.  http://www.mcleancenter.org/alden/mcleankids.asp

  3. Move Me! Arts Experience Festival- Apr. 17, 2pm – 5pm @ Kenmore Middle School, Arlington, VA — Families will enjoy live performances, interactive workshops in dance, theatre, reading, instrument petting zoo, and crafting.  The theme of the festival is arts, culture, education, and diversity. http://bmdc.org/kenmore10/
  4. White House Spring Garden Tour- April 17-18, 10am – 4pm- White House, Washington, DC — Tour the White House gardens and grounds including the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, Rose Garden, Children’s Garden and the South Lawn of the White House.   The tours are free and open to the public, but a ticket is required for all attendees (including children).  The National Park Service will hand out the free time tickets at the Ellipse Visitor Pavilion (15th and E Streets), beginning at 8am on a first come first served basis. http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/tours_and_events/spring-garden
