Looks like it is going to be a rainy weekend in the DC Metro area.  Check out some fun indoor activity ideas for the weekend!

  1. Launch Zone’s 1st Birthday– Apr 24, 11am – 4pm @ National Children’s Museum Launch Zone — It is the Launch Zone’s 1st birthday, and NCM is hosting a family festival.  There will be fun activities, balloon sculptures, face painting, party hat making, a magician, and party favors.  It is a free event, and no reservations are required.  The first 250 birthday party guests will receive mini-frisbees.  http://www.ncm.museum/launch_zone/events/happy-1st-birthday-launch-zone
  2. Alexandria Earth Day– April 24, 10am – 2pm @ Ben Brenman Park —  There will be music, a puppet show, and a family sing along.  http://www.alexearthday.org/

  4. Disney’s Oceans April 25, 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:25pm, 7:50pm @ Tyson’s Corner Center — A look into the ocean deep and the amazing creatures that live within.  For every ticket purchased during the opening week, a donation is made to The Nature Conservancy.  http://disney.go.com/disneynature/oceans/
