So apparently I took the summer off!  Not planned, but we were super busy and the blog is what suffered.  I’m back, so let’s get right to it…

This week is going to be sunny  and low 60’s/high 50’s.  Take advantage of the warmish weather, and go out and play!

 

Tuesday, November 9th Geckos: Tails to Toepads – 9am – 5 pm daily (Free Admission on Wednesday) @ National Geographic Museum — This exhibit features from than 70 geckos More than 70 live geckos from 15 different species in re-creations of their habitats.  Visitors can experience gecko night vision, play at a coloring station,  listen to gecko sounds, read books about geckos, activate video clips of geckos in action, and build a custom gecko for various environments.  There’s also a gecko feeding at 2 p.m. daily.  Stay tuned for a review of the event after we go next week.   http://events.nationalgeographic.com/events/exhibits/2010/09/24/geckos/

 

Wednesday, November 10th Stroller Happy Hour – 3pm – 5pm @ Twisted Vines Bottleshop & Bistro, Arlington — Come hang out with other Moms and Dads for a kid-friendly meet & greet at Twisted Vines on Columbia Pike! Twisted Vines has toys out to entertain the kids while the adults can hang out.  Snacks for the kids will be provided.
