Peep Show Children’s Tour

A free event!  Kids and families can join in the PEEPS fun with free activities including a special children’s tour of the dioramas and PEEPS diorama-making workshops.  The free events will include PEEPS treats.

Come follow the rainbow on this colorful hike, and join a naturalist to find all the colors of the rainbow in nature. Put your observation skills to the test.

Frog Chorus at Eakin Pond

7:30pm @ Hidden Oaks Nature Center, Annandale

Join a naturalist-led walk to the pond to identify frogs by sound and features. Celebrate National Frog Month! Bring one flashlight/family.

Family Hiking 101: Exploration, Safety and Leave No Trace

2pm – 5pm @ Theodore Roosevelt Island National Monument, Arlington

Join two expert guides from Hiking Along and The North Face on a two mile circuit hike around the perimeter of Theodore Roosevelt Island. The trail is natural surface and raised walkways through two ecosystems, a deciduous forest and wetlands.
