Funnel cake, racing pigs, rides, and games- the Arlington County Fair is back!  The fair begins tomorrow at 5pm continuing through Sunday at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center.  This year will feature entertainment from the Harlem Wizards, pony rides, the Star Family Circus, and Racing Piglets, as well as fair pastimes that you would expect like rides, food, and games.

On Friday and Saturday there are also outdoor family movies- Friday is Never Say Never, and Saturday features Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  The movies will be shown on the tennis courts and will start as soon at sundown.

The fair is very family friendly with a Kid’s Court that includes face painting, bounce houses, and other games and activities.  Thursday is Kid’s Day and the Washington Wizards and Mystics will be there from 11am – 4pm with lots of free activities.  There will be prizes, coloring, stickers, and more.

Parking can be difficult, so take advantage of the shuttles that will run continuously from the Arlington Career Center, the I-66 Parking Garage, and the Ballston Metro.  There is a charge of $1 each way to use the public shuttles to and from the fair. Children under 12 ride for free.
