Children’s art classes are coming soon to Alexandria’s Telegraph Station!   Each class will begin with songs and stories.  Children will then work with art materials that provide opportunities for growth and discovery.  The classes will promote positive social skills, develop critical thinking skills, and inspire kids to grow creatively.  The instructor is Nicole Holohan, an experienced art therapist, artist, and mother of 2 young children.

The theme for October’s class is “My Little Monster.” Children will explore the “not-so-scary” kind of monsters and then create a mask with paint and collage materials.

Classes will be held on Saturday October 8th at 3:30 pm and Wednesday October 19th at 10:30 am.

Classes are designed for children ages 2-5, but can still be suitable for kids up to age 7.  Classes are $15 per child.  You can purchase yummy smoothies, coffee/teas, sandwiches, pizza, and backed goods from Telegraph Station before during or after class.
